Municipal Parks & Public Property

Rental of Municipal Parks and Facilities are handled through the Film Liaison at the City of Maple Ridge.

Cemetery

The City of Maple Ridge limits access to the City cemeteries. If you are interested in filming at the Whonnock cemetery, please contact the Film Liaison.

Golden Ears Park

The City of Maple Ridge does not issue film permits for Golden Ears Provincial Park. The Province of BC is responsible for issuing film permits for the provincial parks.

The City of Maple Ridge will require notification of filming in Golden Ears Park by the film production company. If the film production company requires the use of a generator, an Electrical Permit issued by the City of Maple Ridge will be required.

Bordertown

Although Bordertown is accessible through Maple Ridge, the City of Pitt Meadows issues the film permits for this area. However, the Electrical Permits and inspections are issued by the City of Maple Ridge. A Street Use Request may also be required if parking within the City of Maple Ridge. Private Property - Owners and Occupants

The film production company is responsible for addressing any problems that residents in the affected area may have as a result of filming and are responsible for resolving them prior to filming.

All owners or occupants of the properties within a street closure area or within any area impacted by filming are to be notified in writing of the activity by the film production company as far in advance of the filming as possible. The notifications to property owners/occupants must include:
