Ticket Information

Ultimately, when efforts at obtaining compliance with City bylaws have failed, Bylaw Enforcement Officers must decide whether the contravention of the bylaws requires enforcement of the bylaw by issuance of a ticket. Tickets are issued for both parking violations and municipal bylaw violations.

Fines & Payments


For ticket information and fine amounts, please refer to the City of Maple Ridge Municipal Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw. If you've received a ticket from the City of Maple Ridge, the process to pay is as follows:
  • online with Visa, MasterCard or Interac
  • in person with cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or debit card at the City of Maple Ridge Licences, Permits & Bylaws Department or at the City of Maple Ridge Taxes counter  
  • over the phone with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express at 604-467-7305

Disputes


To dispute a municipal ticket, you must complete a Ticket Dispute Form, available online or at the Licences, Permits & Bylaws Department front counter. Once the form is completed and submitted to the Licences, Permits & Bylaws Department, your dispute will be reviewed and an Officer will advise you of the decision within seven business days.
