Search & Rescue

Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue (RMSR) is a volunteer group based in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. As one of over 80 search and rescue groups in the province, they respond to calls from local law enforcement to wilderness and urban searches and rescues. Golden Ears Provincial Park, in their response area, is the location of many of their responses. RMRS had its start in 1969 with about 15 members and has grown to a total of 35 active members with about five reserve members today.

Facility

The Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue facility located on the Albion Fairgrounds at 105 Avenue contains three large garage bays for the rescue trucks and boat, along with training facilities such as classrooms and a communications room.
