  2. Emergency Services

    Keeping the community, its citizens and its visitors safe is an important priority in Maple Ridge. Together, agencies like the police, fire, ambulance and search and rescue work hard to ensure that this goal is met. Maple Ridge has an outstanding emergency response system that includes an Emergency Operations Centre and Emergency Social Services that can be activated in the event of a serious incident such as flood, fire or earthquake.

    Some of the areas, such as Library Services, are provided in conjunction with our partners at the Fraser Valley Regional Library system. Others are provided by outside agencies and other levels of government, such as Health Services and Education.
