Shawn ‘The Harpoonist’ Hall, with his booming vocals and arsenal of harmonicas, and Matthew ‘The Axe Murderer’ Rogers, armed with a mess of foot percussion and a road-worn Telecaster, kick out raw and primal blues while infusing a jolt of renewed energy. This Vancouver-based, JUNO Award-nominated duo deliver a sound that is smothered in greasy, gritty blues and soul, and punched with a hit of rock and funk.
