Haney Farmers Market Celebrates National Aboriginal Day

Memorial Peace Park is bursting at the seams in celebration of National Aboriginal Day that occurs on June 21. Haney Farmers Market and Fraser River All Nations Aboriginal Society partner up to celebrate their 8th annual event, happening on June 24th. Join in the crafts, ceremonies, singing, and dancing! There will be a Bannock Cookoff, with judging at 11:30am, and sales open to the public shortly after. Jessica Peters is defending her title from last year. Mike Walker entertains in the Café Corner. More veggies, herbs, flowers, and fruit are arriving at the Marketplace. Join us for lunch at the Sizzlin' Smokey Dog booth or have a special sandwich or tasty pretzel at Beaf's BBQ.
