The District of Maple Ridge lies on the north shore of the Fraser River, 45 km east of the City of Vancouver. Nestled against the Coast Mountains, Maple Ridge is a community that combines small-town atmosphere with close proximity to a major trade centre.
Construction on the Maple Ridge Town Centre is completed. Public festivals, concerts, memorial services, and other events are bringing thousands of people into the downtown core. Thousands more make use of the new town centre facilities each day.
