    Looking for a lunchtime activity? Well look no further! The DMRBIA's Busking Program is hosting various buskers, starting on Monday, June 26, 2017! Buskers will perform at three locations in Downtown Maple Ridge: 1. Memorial Peace Park (the South area) 2. Dewdney Trunk Road (near the Horse Clock) 3. 224 Street (in front of Ridge Film Studios) Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Until Sep. 29) Buskers will perform at the three locations. If you are a performer (or know of one) please send us an email or call 604-467-2420, we would love to have you! Spots are filling up fast, so be quick!

  2. Bruce James Orchestra Concert

    July 24, 2017, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Port Haney Wharf

    Over-looking the beautiful Fraser River, the Music on the Wharf Concert Series has something for everyone in the family. It started with a local band offering to play a one-time concert and has become one of the Maple Ridge Historical Society’s most popular annual events. Bruce James Orchestra will bring a grand performance to Port Haney Wharf on July 24th. This 19-piece band has been established since 1999, performing a large variety, including 1920's swing classics, through present day pop and rock hits. *Concerts are weather dependent.   6. Play Nights in the Park

    The Playbox contains ideas for games and equipment to play along with nature and history exploration. Children's staff will be at the Park to demonstrate how the Playbox works and encourage use. Connecting with the Canadian passion for the great outdoors and supporting active play, a Playbox and heritage themed geocaching site have been installed in Maple Ridge Park. This initiative encourages families to get outside to explore, play and decrease their daily screen time.
