This is one of many star parties being held across the country by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. We of the Vancouver Centre invite you to look at the wonders of the night sky through our telescopes and binoculars. Please feel free to bring your own optics or just your eyes. Please bring layers of clothing and a chair or mat for your comfort.

With the theme “Be All the COUNTRY you Can Be”, enjoy the largest 4H livestock shows in B.C! Horse Shows, Canada 150 Village, home arts and gardening competitions, Fun Til You’re Done Farm with young farm animals, Dairy Classroom and Poultry In Motion Barn exhibits, Backyard Chicken displays, horse ferrier, sheep shearing, sheep dog demos, rabbit agility demos, food and Market Place exhibitors and Shooting Star Midway. Check out our first class daily entertainment lineup featuring Canadian artist tribute bands and a multicultural/community stage, bilingual roving kids entertainers, Cirque de Country Fest, Beshano Trials Bike Show, Major Conrad Flapps Traffic Safety Show, Geocaching and the infamous and hilarious Richard’s Racing pigs and ducks, There is so much more and so please keep checking our website for updates.
