Maple Ridge is serviced by Ridge Meadows Hospital which is a full-service hospital that provides 24/7 emergency care, surgery, maternity and critical care, and a host of other services. Health care services in Maple Ridge are provided by Fraser Health which also provides residential care and assisted living, public health, home health, palliative care, mental health and substance use support, along with specialized programs for children, women and Aboriginal people.
Ridge Meadows Hospital has 171 acute care beds. As a community hospital, it provides primary and secondary acute care and specialty services including 24/7 emergency, ambulatory care, day surgery, general and internal medicine, rehabilitation, maternity care, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, critical care, pharmacy, medical imaging, and a medical laboratory for both inpatient and outpatient needs. The site also offers a continuum of adult psychiatric and social services available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

The provincial Ministry of Health Services provides a vast amount of information regarding our provincial health care system including how to apply for coverage to the Medical Services Plan, Health Insurance BC, PharmaCare, Home and Community Care, and even Surgical Wait List Registry.

Ridge Meadows Division of Family Practice

This is a non-profit society working in conjunction with the Family Practice Services Committee and the Doctors of BC to support the entire Ridge Meadows medical community.  Part of the mandate is to attract and retain new physicians to Maple Ridge and PItt Meadows.
