The Licences & Bylaws department captures a wide range of services for citizens, including issuing business licences, dog licences, bylaw enforcement, business licence applications and renewals, as well as records management of businesses in Maple Ridge.

Compliance

Bylaw staff ensures compliance with regulations enacted by Council ranging from parking to issues of land and property use. The department administers the dog licence program and works with the local British Columbia SPCA to ensure compliance with animal welfare legislation.
