Ticket Information

Ultimately, when efforts at obtaining compliance with City bylaws have failed, Bylaw Compliance Officers must decide whether the contravention of the bylaws requires enforcement of the bylaw by issuance of a ticket. Tickets are issued for both parking violations and municipal bylaw violations.

Fines & Payments

For ticket information and fine amounts, please refer to the City of Maple Ridge Municipal Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw (PDF). If you've received a ticket from the City of Maple Ridge, the process to pay is as follows:
  • online with Visa, MasterCard or certain debit cards (TD Canada Trust, Bank of Montreal, Scotiabank and RBC Royal Bank)
  • in person with cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or debit card at the Licences & Bylaws Department or at the Property Tax counter
  • over the phone with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express at 604-467-7305 (press 2 for ticket payments)


To dispute a ticket, you must complete a Ticket Dispute Form (PDF), available online or at the Licences & Bylaws Department front counter. Once the form is completed and submitted to the Licences & Bylaws Department, your dispute will be reviewed and staff will phone you to advise you of the decision.
