The City of Maple Ridge gives notice that it is seeking the approval of the electors to provide a necessary routing for a City storm sewer line under Dedicated Park Land at Silver Valley Road (Plan BCP 46658 Section 33 Township 12 New Westminster District) as illustrated in the attached Appendix and to do all things necessary in connection with this construction including, but not limited to, the acquisition of all such real property, easements, rights-of-way or authorities as may be requisite or desirable.
Council may adopt City Sewer Line in Dedicated Park Land Bylaw No. 7867-2022 unless at least 10% of the electors of the entire City of Maple Ridge sign elector response forms and submit them to the City by the deadline of 4:00 p.m. on September 6, 2022. If 10% of the electors sign and submit elector response forms by the deadline, Council must obtain the assent of the electors before proceeding.
This approval process applies to the entire area of the City of Maple Ridge.

These forms are available on request from the Municipal Hall, 11995 Haney Place, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 6A9 or may be obtained by visiting the City web site on the Alternate Approval Process page.
