203 Street Watermain Replacement (Lougheed Highway to Thorne Avenue)

The City of Maple Ridge plans to replace the watermain on 203 Street in order to increase system capacity to support growth, fire flow requirements and improve system reliability. The works will run from just north of Lougheed Highway south to Thorne Avenue, where the new watermain will connect into an existing watermain. The portion of 203 Street between Thorne Avenue and Hammond Road will also be re-paved.

The City has retained ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. to design the project and Conwest Contracting Ltd. to construct the project.

The project is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2023 and complete in the fall. There will be impacts to on-street parking for the duration of construction. During construction, single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect. We thank you for your patience.

This page will be updated as the project progresses.

If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact the project manager, Jason Bomans, at 604-467-7349.
