The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from more than 15,000 types of consumer products.

Underwriters' Laboratories

Find listings of recently posted items that are hazardous and have fraudulent or unauthorized Underwriters' Laboratories markings. Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) has developed more than 800 standards for safety. Millions of products and their components are tested to UL's safety standards with the result that consumers live in a safer environment than they would have otherwise. Approved products bear the official UL or Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (ULC) mark. The ULC website shows approved UL and ULC marks that are found on products that have met their safety standards.
