There is no doubt that one of the most challenging times is the period right after a major snowfall when our weather turns warm again and the snow starts to melt. We've all stepped on what we thought was a packed pile of snow only to find ourselves ankle deep in ice cold water that has collected due to a clogged catch basin. Also in the fall, the catch basin near your home may be obstructed with leaves and other debris that create puddles at the side of the road.
