The City of Maple Ridge is planning to improve pedestrian and cycling facilities on 117 Avenue from 207 Street to Laity Street and on Laity Street from 117 Avenue to Lougheed Highway by providing a 3.0m multi-use path. The multi-use path will create a safe and inviting pedestrian and cycling facility on 117 Avenue and Laity Street.
The scope of work includes the design and construction of the asphalt multi-use path, streetlights and traffic calming features. The pathway will be located on the south side of 117 Avenue and on the east side of Laity Street, which will connect to the existing multi-use path on Lougheed Highway.
A virtual information session will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 6:00 pm to share the updated design with residents. City staff and the design consultants will present the design for the project and will be available to answer your questions.
