A Development Cost Charges (DCCs) Imposition Bylaw update is currently underway. DCCs are charges that developers pay to assist with funding infrastructure to service new development. The bylaw structure is changing and the rates are increasing, primarily due to the increased cost of land and updated infrastructure plans. The bylaw presentation is on our website, as part of the July 4, 2017 Council Workshop video and a staff report is on the July 11, 2017 Council agenda.
