Paving Notice for Dewdney Trunk Road (DTR): You’ve wondered when the bumps on DTR will be fixed now that the underground water lines have been installed and tested and we are pleased to confirm that we are going to start the paving work after the Victoria Day Long weekend.
On Tuesday, May 25 we will begin the grinding of the pavement on DTR between 222 Street and 216 Street in preparation for the final paving. The paving is scheduled for Friday, May 28 through to Sunday May 30. We need dry weather to put the new layer of asphalt on the road surface, so rainfall can impact this schedule. Once the paving is completed your morning commute will be smooth as silk.
There will be lane closures throughout the week to ensure the safety of the road construction crews. Please add some extra time for your commute and follow the instructions of any traffic control personnel for your safety and the safety of all the workers on the project.
