The Alouette River Management Society will be hosting public hatchery tours at the ALLCO Fish Hatchery, and would love for you to join. The tours will run from June 27th-30th, from 3:30pm-4:30pm. We will cover the history of ARMS and the ALLCO hatchery, and take guests on a tour through the hatchery to teach about the processes that take place. Participants of all ages are welcome. If you are interested in joining, please contact communications@alouetteriver.org.

Come join us in Maple Ridge Park from 10:30am – 12:30pm next week for our Alouette Watershed Workshop Series! Each day will have a different salmon focused theme: June 27: Backyard Biodiversity - Learn all about urban streams, pocket parks, and the wealth of nature we can uncover right in our backyard! June 28: Summers with Salmon - 'Tis the season for salmon returns! Brush up on your salmon identification skills and find out how we can safely share the river. June 29: Wonders of Watersheds - Discover the mysteries of watersheds and determine the effect pollution has on our environment. June 30: Salmon and Sustainability - Understand what sustainability means and explore new ways we can live for better river health as we welcome Plastic Free July!
