Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteering is truly the highest form of recreation. In Maple Ridge, we believe that all volunteers play a significant role in creating a vibrant community that engages and involves citizens of all ages and walks of life. Browse the links below to find out more about volunteer opportunities in Maple Ridge and surrounding communities. To find a volunteer position with one of the many nonprofit organizations in our community, visit My Volunteer Page and search "Maple Ridge".
Advisory Groups
Council-appointed citizen advisory committees, commissions or boards which advise Council on a wide variety of subjects need volunteers. Here is a link to the Committees of Council information page so you can explore the ways that Council brings expertise in our community to their decision making. If you are interested in applying to be a representative of one of these committees look for the notice in the fall of each year when positions become available and the City recruits new members. These openings are also posted on the City’s social media channels.Emergency Services
