The City of Maple Ridge’s Strategic Transportation Plan development has entered Phase 3 and we are, once again, asking for input from citizens on this important component of our long-range planning.
Since our first public survey in May, we have completed a technical analysis and integrated the valuable input provided by residents and stakeholders in order to summarize the issues and gaps for all modes of transportation in Maple Ridge. We have developed a vision, goals, and long-term directions to meet community needs.
We are currently in Phase 3 of the planning process and we want to hear from you. During Phase 3, we will set the overall plan direction by identifying a vision, goals, and plan preliminary long-term networks and themes for each mode of transportation.
You can access the survey on the City website at mapleridge.ca/2557 and follow the links to the Story Map that provides you with the opportunity to dive into the background as much as you want before sharing your feedback. Citizens who would like a printable copy of the survey can email us at stp@mapleridge.ca and once you’ve filled it out you can drop it off or mail it to City Hall. The survey will be open to the public until December 8, 2021. Thank you for being part of this important work.
