The Emergency Support Services (ESS) Reception Centre will not be physically opening today. Anyone that has been displaced by the fire and still not registered, is advised to call the Canadian Red Cross disaster assistance toll free at 1-888-800-6493 to identify that they have been impacted by the Maple Ridge Fire. The phone operators will direct you to the appropriate ESS resources.
Road Closures
A section of Brown Avenue from Edge Street towards 227 Street remains closed to traffic. Residents are reminded not to travel to the site unless they have business in the area to keep the area clear as the site assessment and remediation work begins.
