225 Street Pump Station Upgrades
The City o
f Maple Ridge has completed upgrades to the 225 Street sewage pump station. The pump station conveys sewage via an existing forcemain. To meet the long-term needs of the City, the pump station needed to be upgraded to reliably convey increasing sewer flows.
Upgrades included replacement of all four pumps, the addition of new pumps and upgrades to the electrical systems and floors. The pump station remained in operation throughout construction.
Associated Engineering (B.C.) Ltd. completed the design and construction was completed by Drake Excavating (2016) Ltd. The project was completed in the fall of 2022.
