On Wednesday, November 26 the next open House in the Hammond Area Planning process will be held at Hammond Elementary School from 4:30 to 8:30 pm. It's a drop in format with displays and interactive elements to get feedback from the community. As part of this stage in the project we're also introducing our second set of videos titled 'Hammond: The Next Generation' featuring members of the community sharing their thoughts on why they love the neighbourhood, density, the commercial area and their thoughts on some of the other issues that need to be addressed in the Hammond Area Plan. The videos have been posted to the City's YouTube channel, so you can watch them at home. here's a link to the first video of the four part series. At the open house we will have a video booth set up for people to share their thoughts on a couple of key questions so that we can continue this great discussion.
