ACT Arts Centre

The ACT Arts Centre has three entrances.

• Haney Place Loop | Main entrance
• Edge Street
• Through the underground parkade

Keep an eye on the hanging signs to find the building entrance. The ACT is wheelchair accessible from all three entrances.

• Car | Check Google maps for accurate route and distance or the map below for reference
• Bus | The ACT is three (3) minute walk from the Haney Place Bus loop. Plan better with Translink
• Bike | There are bike racks outside The ACT Arts center in case you choose to cycle

For those driving, the underground parkade offers the easiest access to the ACT Arts Centre. There is no parking allowed in front of the building. Public pay parking is located onsite at 11944 Haney Place, with access to The ACT Arts Centre. Follow the ACT signage, in the green section, to the elevator or stairs leading directly into the facility. Prepare ahead of time to park and go with the hangTag app. There are numerous pay parking meters in the underground parkade, located at the Edge Street entrance (access to The ACT), Leisure Centre and Civic Centre entrances. Note: the Leisure Centre parking meter accepts cash. 

The Main Stage Theatre has eight (8) reserved accessible seats for patrons in wheelchairs and for those who cannot use stairs. Balcony seats are not wheelchair friendly. The Studio Theatre has no stairs and contains flexible seating. A limited number of booster seats for children (offered on a first come first served basis) are available that can be used in either theatre. Patrons are also welcomed to bring their own small booster seats.

We offer infra-red hearing reinforcement systems for patrons with hearing impairments. Headsets can be returned at the bar after the event. Pre-arrange this service by emailing TheACT@MapleRidge.ca, or contacting our ticket centre at 604-476-2787 well in advance of the performance or event.

The building doors open two (2) hours prior to shows and the ACT staff and volunteers will be present to welcome you. A ticket to the performance (print or e-ticket) is required for venue access. If you have misplaced your ticket, please contact the ticket centre ahead of the show to have it reissued

Mall doors close at 6pm Monday to Saturday and 5pm on Sundays, after which the food court can be accessed via the Walmart doors until 7pm (Monday - Saturday) and 6pm (Sunday).
