Find a #MapleRidgeFilm Location

A Google Account is not required to access the film location maps. Simply click on one of the cards of a map of interest below and a new page in Google Earth will open. Map features will be found in a panel to the left.

To view the description and photos associated with a feature, single-click on the feature's polygon title in the left panel.

It will be denoted by a small polygon symbol to its left as displayed here. 

A description box will open in the top right with photos (if available) that can be scrolled through and clicked on to enlarge.

To fly to the location of a feature, double-click on the feature's polygon title in the left panel.

You will automatically be flown to that feature, from where you can then adjust the view to your liking, including the zoom, tilt, heading, and map layers.

To explore a feature in Street View (if available), double-click on the feature's placemark title in the left panel.

Click on the arrow in the top left corner when in Street View to exit back to the map.

Simply click on the "Slideshow" button in the top right corner of the screen and the slideshow will begin from the top of the feature list. Use the arrows in the bottom left corner to click through the slideshow. Use the "Table of Contents" button to quickly jump between features of interest. Finally, click the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen to exit the slideshow and return to the map.

This is likely due to the "3D buildings" layer being toggled on in the Layers menu. To toggle the visibility of 3D buildings and other layers on the map, click on the "Layers" button in the bottom left corner of the screen, scroll down to "3D buildings", and click on the toggle to switch it from on to off. The toggle's colour will switch from blue to grey and any available 3D buildings and trees will disappear.
